RETURNS
It's inevitable, sometimes the product you ordered just isn't what you wanted; the wrong color was shipped, or the product arrived defective.  Unlike typical web sites and catalog companies, we will not try to deter you from returning product by using a complicated return process.  Returns are an important part of overall customer satisfaction, and we want your entire experience with us to be a positive one.  Please call us to get moving with your return.

 

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR PRODUCT SHIPPED IN ERROR.
If you receive a product from Iron Gate Hardware that is damaged or the product was shipped in error, we will replace it at no charge.  To make the return, follow these instructions...

Contact Iron Gate by phone 866-322-GATE and speak with a representative to discuss your situation and obtain return approval. Returns will not be accepted without approval from the office. (Notification of a return must be made by phone to our office within 30 days of invoice.)

For the quickest service, ship your package back to us pre-paid via USPS Priority Mail.  We will refund your Credit Card the shipping charge you incur.  If you prefer, Iron Gate will arrange for FedEx to pick-up the re-sealed package up at your location. (This can take up to 10 business days).  Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, we will ship you a corrected replacement unit.  If the product returned is not defective and/or was shipped correctly, you will not be refunded your shipping charges and you may incur a 25% re-stocking fee.

 

PRODUCT ORDERED IN ERROR
We can not be responsible for errors made on the part of the buyer.  If a product is ordered incorrectly (color, style, size, etc), we will gladly exchange the item.  However, we must charge a 25% restocking fee for the returned product.  (This fee applies to all brands except Deckmaster, and FastenMaster; There is no restock fee for these brands.)   To make the return, follow these instructions...

Reseal the product and ship it to Iron Gate Hardware via USPS, FedEx, or UPS (freight pre-paid).  Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, you will be credited the cost of the initial product less a fee of 25% of the product's original cost.  If you select another product as a replacement, a new order will be created.  The shipping cost of the original order is non-refundable.
